The FTSE 100 index of leading UK company shares finished the week at 5,132.94, up 27.49 points or +0.54% on the day and up 294.85 points (+6.09%) over the week.

Over a year the FTSE 100 has risen from 4,158.70 (974.24 points or 23.43%).

£1 is currently worth $1.50650 US or €1.19180 Euros.

Brent Crude Oil Future is currently priced at $75.49/barrel. Gold is $1,208.75/ounce and Silver is $17.87/ounce.

The UK Bank Rate is 0.5% and CPI inflation was 3.4% for the year to May 2010.
