Sandy has 25 years’ experience in retail financial services. Having spent 10 years with a large insurance company in a business management role she decided to become an independent financial adviser in 1995. Sandy joined the team at Informed Choice in 2003.
A graduate of Exeter University, she is an Associate of the Personal Finance Society, and an Associate of the Institute of Financial planning. She is one of an exclusive group of advisers to have been awarded both Chartered Financial Planner and Certified Financial planner status.
Sandy is qualified to advise on all aspects of personal financial planning, from savings and investments to pensions, life assurance and estate planning. She works closely with local solicitors to provide expert advice on trustee investments, inheritance tax planning and financial solutions in the case of divorce.
Holding the specialist care fees planning qualification CF8 Sandy has a particular interest in helping elderly clients plan for the future and in particular providing advice and guidance on the funding of care fees. Her focus is to deliver bespoke and tailored financial solutions that offer peace of mind to those needing care.
Her business is focussed on delivering a personal service, understanding her client’s needs and building a long term, caring relationship based on integrity and trust.
Sandy is married with 4 adult children. She lives and works with her husband in her Reigate office. She enjoys travelling, spending time with her family and is currently learning to play golf.
