Nick Bamford APFS AIFP – Chief Executive
Location: Cranleigh, Surrey
Nick Bamford founded Informed Choice Ltd in 1994 and has been an Independent Financial Adviser since 1989. He is a Chartered Financial Planner and was the previous Chairman of the Society of Financial Advisers.
Martin Bamford CFP APFS – Managing Director
Location: Cranleigh, Surrey
Martin Bamford joined Informed Choice in 2002 and became a Director in 2004. He is a Chartered Financial Planner and Certified Financial Planner. Martin is an established media IFA and author of several books.
Dermott Whelan CFP ASIP APFS FCCA – Investment Director
Location: Flitwick, Bedfordshire
Dermott Whelan joined Informed Choice in 2009 with a background in investment management. He is a fellow of The Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and an Associate of the CFA Society of the UK. Dermott is a Chartered Financial Planner and Certified Financial Planner.

Sandy Lowth CFP APFS – Chartered Financial Planner
Location: Reigate, Surrey
Sandy Lowth has been an Independent Financial Adviser since 1995 and joined Informed Choice in 2003. She is a Chartered Financial Planner and Certified Financial Planner.
Angela Murfitt CFP FPFS ACII – Chartered Financial Planner
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Angela Murfitt is a Chartered Financial Planner and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) professional, based in Stoke-on-Trent. She has been an IFA for fifteen years.
Andrew Neligan CFP APFS – Chartered Financial Planner
Location: Cranleigh, Surrey
Andrew Neligan joined Informed Choice in 2008. He is a Chartered Financial Planner and Certified Financial Planner. Andrew is winner of the Best Newcomer Award at the FT New Breed Adviser Awards 2009.
Len Armstrong DipPFS – Financial Planner
Location: Great Bookham , Surrey
Len Armstrong joined Informed Choice in 2009 as a Financial Planner. He holds the Diploma in Financial Planning, working with clients in Surrey, the Home Counties and beyond.
Ian Lovelace DipFA MIFP – Financial Planner
Location: West Byfleet, Surrey
Ian joined the Informed Choice team in 2010 as a Financial Planner. He has been an IFA since 1998 working predominantly with individual clients.
Philip Sullivan CertPFS – Financial Planner
Location: Guildford, Surrey
Philip Sullivan has been with Informed Choice since our formation in 1994. He holds the Certificate in Financial Planning and is currently completing the Diploma in Financial Planning.
Simon Hewitt CeFA – Financial Planner
Location: Godalming, Surrey
Simon Hewitt joined the Informed Choice team in 2010 as a Financial Planner. He was previously a performance analyst and trading manager in the commodities sector.
Support team:
Andrea Bamford – Client Services Director
Andrea Bamford founded Informed Choice Ltd in 1994. She is responsible for the management of all client administration and accountancy operations within the business. In addition, Andy is responsible for personnel and building management.
Lizanne Doyle CertPFS – Client Services Administrator
Lizanne Doyle joined Informed Choice in 2006. She is responsible for providing administration support to our Financial Planners and their clients. Lizanne holds the Certificate in Financial Planning.
Shelley McCarthy DipPFS AIFP – Senior Paraplanner
Shelley McCarthy joined Informed Choice in 2009. Her main responsibilities are writing advisory and planning reports for delivery by our Financial Planners. Shelley holds the Diploma in Financial Planning and is an Associate of the Institute of Financial Planning.
Rosalind Sutoris DipPFS – Assistant Paraplanner
Roz joined Informed Choice in 2010. She works in the technical support team with Martin and Shelley, supporting the construction of advisory, planning and review reports.
