Martin Bamford joined Informed Choice in 2002 and became a Director in 2004.

He is a Chartered Financial Planner and Certified Financial PlannerCM certificant.

During 2009, Martin was Surrey region Chairman for the Institute of Financial Planning. He was recognised as one of the most influential financial advisers in Britain, in a survey by Professional Adviser magazine.

Martin is an established media IFA, frequently quoted in the national press and writing for various publications each month. He is the published author of several personal finance books. Two of his books – The Money Tree and Brilliant Investing – have been selected as WHSmith Business Book of the Month.

Martin is responsible for the day to day running of Informed Choice Ltd along with ensuring a high level of technical service to its clients.
